Abstract
A metal pen-point is formed with an oxide coating by heating in an atmosphere containing oxygen, the coating increasing the "wetting" properties. Pens made of nickel silver, chromium plated or not plated, or stainless steel containing 18 per cent chromium may be employed. A heating temperature of 750 DEG -850 DEG F. is mentioned.
