[Class 99 (i)] A pipe connector comprises a pair of coaxially spaced rings a<1>, a<2>, to be joined to opposed pipe ends by means of screw-threaded studs band a flexible metal or similarly strong lacing d passing round studs c fixed in the rings so as to form a sinuous path and to be held in tension between the studs. The whole is embedded in a cylindrical mass e of rubber, two metal bands f being fitted to oppose outward bulging of the rubber.
