1323764 Waistbands GREIFF-WERKE GUSTAV WINKLER KG 15 Oct 1970 [16 Feb 1970] 49159/70 Heading A3V A pair of trousers is produced from elastic material and has a waistband produced from the same elastic material in combination with a plurality of pieces 2 of a different material, so that the waistband is stretchable in its peripheral direction. The elastic material may be jersey material, and the different material a different elastic material such as rubber. The jersey material 8 and rubber material 2 may be arranged alternately in a peripheral direction (as shown) or transversely, or pieces 2 of the material may be fitted inside a continuous band of jersey material. The waistband may be joined to the remainder of the trousers by distance pieces, see Fig. 4 (not shown). The circumference of the waistband may be adjustable.
