[Class 52(v)] [Also in Group XVIII] A model of a human head is furnished with a hairsimulating device comprising textil fabric 11 painted in imitation of hair. The fabric is attached to the skull 10 along the hair lines 12 and 14 and along the sides, leaving a space over the skull into which can be stuffed any wool, cotton, or other spongy material 15 which will allow a hat, &c. placed on the head to bed down in a natural manner. The fabric 11 may be continued down over the face and neck of the figure, and may form a snood 16 at the back. Pins 17, inserted through the fabric 11 and stuffing 15 into the skull 10, serve to form waves, partings, &c. 'in the hair.
