593,033. Door-operating appliances. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING CORPORATION. Jan. 17, 1945, No. 1458. Convention date, Nov. 6, 1943. [Class 65 (i)] A shaft 14, from which a door, such as an oil cooler door on aircraft, is operated, is turned by an electric motor 2 acting through an electromagnetic clutch 6, an epicyclic reduction gear 8, a worm 10 and a segmental wormwheel 12 keyed to the shaft 14. The angular movement of the wheel 12 is limited by stops 20, 22 each of which is suspended from the casing by a pair of bolts one on either side of the worm-shaft.
