[Class 74 (ii)] Stitch drawing cams 10, 11 for rotary and reciprocatory knitting in a circular machine, e.g. of the split, foot type, are carried by a cam block mounted for pivotal or tiltable movement under control of all abutment and a plurality of adjusting means for the purpose of adjusting the relative heights of the cams. Fig. 2 shows a radially movable cam block 5 on a support 6<1> that is pivoted at 15 to a slide 16 and has an extension 21 with manually adjustable screws 22, 23 for engagement with an abutment in the form of a bell-crank 25. The upper end of the bell-crank has a camming surface for each of the screws 22, 23, the high and low parts of the surfaces being diagonally disposed so that one screw is raised clear of the bell-crank by the other screw riding on the high part of its cam. surface.
