642,929. Knitting-machines. STIBBE & CO., Ltd., G., STIBBE, E. V., and SMITH, B. Oct. 21, 1947, No. 28132. [Class 74 (ii)] Each knock-over cam 6, 8, adapted to operate the dial needles of a cylinder and dial machine, and its associated guard cam 7, 9, are attached to a member 11 slidably mounted in the dial cam cap so that manual or automatic radial adjustment of the member 11 effects adjustment of both of the associated cams. The adjustment of the member 11 may be effected by screw mechanism under the control of a pinion 14 and a toothed ring as described in Specification 642,374.
