[Class 114] The pitch-changing screw 116 is operated through the gear train 46, 118 by a twin belt drive 102, 104 running over V-pulleys, the effective diameter of 29, 75 of which are varied by centrifugal weights 36. The speeds at which the weights 36 operate to increase or decrease the diameter of the pulley 29 are controlled by the spring 84, the pressure on which is varied bv the handle 100. The variation of the width of the pulley 29 is limited by the half-nut 40.
