Abstract
590,522. Head rests. RITTER CO., Inc. Feb. 2, 1945, No. 2718. Convention date, Jan. 27, 1944. [Class 52 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXII] A head rest device concerned, as in Specifications 590,521 and 590,523, with means for resiliently and detachably mounting the individual head supporting pads 14 on the bracket arms 12, comprises a spiral metal spring 17 which is clamped at its periphery on to a seating 16 in the end of a bracket arm 12 and which carries a metal member 21 on its inner coils, said member being provided with a socket 22 to receive a spigot 25 which is mounted on the back of a pad 14 and which slidably and frictionally engages in the socket 22.
