Class 52(iv) A sinuous wire spring for a seat comprises a Z-shaped part 1, 2, 8, 4 secured by the limb 4 to the frame and a second sinuous wire spring 9 secured to a reentrant bend 3 on the first spring and extending in continuation of the limb 1 to the end 11 of which it is connected. The end of the second spring can be connected directly to the frame member 14 or to a supporting spring with a re-entrant bend.
