[Class 18] A metal tray or box comprises a main panel having channel shaped margins, which are held in abutting relation by a closed band, inserted in the channels. The main panel is made from a blank a having extensions b, c, which are bent into channel section to receive the band d. The band is strengthened by flanges f which engage outside the free edges of the channel portions b, c. The tray may have partitions engaging in slots l in the parts b and may have a lid hinged on one of the parts b, c.
