589,913. Rolling. NORLINDH, S. E. M. Sept. 29, 1944, No. 18698. [Class 83 (iv)] Relates to guides for rolling-mills and consists in the employment of guide rollers mounted in resilient holders. Guide rollers 4 are mounted by roller bearings in heads 3 carried by resilient members 2 pivoted in a casing 1 at 2a. Adjust. ing screws 14, spacing the rollers, are carried in the housing so that they bear against the resilient member 2 at a section between the rollers and pivots. In a modification, the casing carries auxiliary guides mounted in front of the rollers, and in this case the screws 14 are mounted at the entering end of the guides.
