Abstract

588,571. Vapour burners. GALLIA, R. Nov. 23, 1944, No. 23361. [Class 75 (i)] Liquid fuel is supplied through a feed-pipe sleeve 15a to an annular vaporizer 3 from which it is discharged through an outlet fitted with a nipple 11 into a mixing tube 8 projecting into a box-like casing 1 carrying a slotted burner head 6, the sleeve 15a, vaporizer 3, outlet 12a, and casing 1 being formed in one piece to facilitate the conduction of heat. The sleeve 15a is fitted with a closure device 16. The mixing tube 8 is formed with apertures 13 adjacent its closed end 9. A shallow preheating trough 14 is provided below the casing 1. The mixing tube may be extended through the casing and supply one or more additional burners of similar construction.
