587,525. Windings for dynamo-electric machines. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLAGET. Nov. 2, 1943, No. 18101. Convention date, Nov. 3, 1942. Drawings to Specification. [Class 35] Three-phase wave windings with the number of slots per pole per phase not an integer and wherein the number of coil sides constituting the wave trains is non-uniform are described a wave train being regarded as the series of consecutive coil sides for one pole and belonging to one phase and formulµ are given for determining the most advantageous amount of this non-uniformity. In the 3-phase 8-pole winding in 114 slots described, the actual breadths are 24 and 14 conductors respectively as against a normal breadth of 19 and the pitch is 14.
