Abstract

586,586. Cut-outs. BESWICE, K. E. Dec. 15, 1944, No. 25239. [Class 38 (i)] A fusible element comprises the elements, tin, copper and silver in intimate contact. The fuse of Fig. 1 has a core 1 of tin, and sheaths 2, 3 of silver and copper, respectively, which extend the whole length of the fuse. Alternatively, Fig. 2 (not shown), the sheaths 2, 3 may be transposed. The point of rupture of the element may be determined by sheathing it in the manner described in Specifications 555,768 and 555,951.
