[Classes 69 (iii) and 135] A liquid spray producer comprises a cylindrical chamber A having a lateral inlet a, and. a spray outlet a<2> in one end, the liquid flowing around a plug B in the chamber, the inlet being regulated by a valve C. The valve C has a recess c<1> at its tapered end to control the inlet and is shaped to direct the inflow tangentially to the annular space around B. The valve housing c is opposite the inlet a. The valve handle c<2> mav be in the form of a bar so that it indicates the position of the valve to direct the liquid tangentially round the plug B.
