[Class 135] In a valve of the type described in Specification 565,539 the outer periphery of the barrier member 17 is provided with a circular shoulder 54 which assists in the closure of the passage and prevents chattering. Series of circumferentially spaced holes 53 or grooves 53a may also be provided in the reduced portion of the barrier member.
