[Class 119] Obstruction of the action of a machinecarbine of the blow-back type by mud or dirt deposited in the bolt-way 5 is prevented by providing longitudinal, or helical ribs 2 on the bolt 1 ; the ends 8 of the ribs are pointed or chisel-shaped and the ribs may be continuous or interrupted. The ribs provide clearance spaces 3 between the bolt and the bolt-way to receive the loosened deposit.
