Abstract

541,697. Lock-nuts. UNITY HEATING. Ltd., and TURNER, H. C. June 5, 1940, No. 9862. [Class 89 (i)] Lock-nuts, of the type in which a yieldable inset is secured in a counterbox 3 of the nut by flanging in the upper end of the wall, have the wall notched or cross cut at 7 to give interengagement between the insert and wall at 8 at least when the bolt is secured into place. In a modification a cross cut is made through the wall and the insert after the latter has been secured in place.
