[Class 137] In air discharging apparatus with rotary outlets such as may be used with unit heaters a damper is arrangec at one or more position: of the discharge casing to obstruct the passage of air so that uniform dis. tribution of heat to oblong &c. rooms may be provided. A unit heater as des. cribed in Specification 527,086 may comprise a heater casing 10 suspended from the ceiling and having a fan 12 and a rotary discharge casing 14 with four louvred outlets 16, driven by a belt 34 from a motor 28. Dampers 58, 60 are carried by arms 66, 70 secured by set screws to a central rod 62 and may be individually altered in size by means of extension plates which slide in grooves formed by their upper and lower edges. Fresh outside air or already heated air may be supplied through a duct to the casing 10.
