578,254. Centrifugal strainers. BRACKETT & CO., Ltd., F. W. and DALBY, R. C. C. Oct. 31, 1944, No. 21239. [Class 23] Dirty water is supplied by an unchokeable pump 12 to the inside of a rotary strainer 10, upon which solids are deposited, to be removed by water jets 20 which wash them into a hopper 19. Clean water passes through the periphery 17 of the screen to a pipe 23. The screen is driven through gearing by a motor 22. The screen may be of double-cup form.
