Abstract

In a rotary liquid meter, the hub of the rotor is made of graphitized polystyrolene with a graphite content of 20 to 35 per cent, the blade wheel is made of polystyrolene and the axle is made of polyamide. The hub may be formed by injection moulding, the blade wheel being moulded around it afterwards. The pinion is integral with the axle, and may be formed by moulding or machining.
