Abstract
The new compound 1,3 - diphenyl - 1,3 - dimethyl-disiloxane <FORM:0814660/IV (a)/1> useful as a curing agent for the siloxanes described in Specification 814,927, is prepared by hydrolysing phenylmethylmonochlorosilane with water, washing the hydrolysate until neutral and distilling.
