[Class 38 (iv] Synchronism.-Where two objects, e.g., aeroplane flaps, are simultaneously operated by separate motors, to ensure equality of movement resistances 66, 68 are adjusted by the respective objects or flaps 44, 34, so that on unequal movement a natural current balance in opposed solenoids 74, 80 is disturbed, and means to change the relative speed of action of the motors is thereby actuated. In the fluid-pressure system shown this means is the member 26 of an equalizer valve in the pressure conduits supplying the motors 30, 40. In a modification using electric motors it is a tapping on a resistance interconnecting the circuits of the motors.
