[Class 135] [Also in Group XXVI] A fuel metering system as described in Specification 620,052 and 620,161; is modified in that the third movable member e of the metering orifice is actuated by a lever a connected to an intermediate point of a floating lever g, g<SP>1</SP> and to a valve h controlling a servomotor j<SP>1</SP>, operative on the airserew governor k, and one end of the floating lever is connected to and moved by the servomotor P which controls the ported sleeve H<SP>1</SP> of the metering orifice in accordance with the speed of the prime mover, whilst the other end of the floating lever is moved by the pilot's control lever n. Lever a is limited in its movements by stops d, d<SP>1</SP>. A manual over-ride device for the airscrew governor comprises a ported sleeve l surrounding valve h and movable by a cam from a lever m.
