662,859. Automatic steering control systems. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. Nov. 17, 1944 [Dec. 31, 1943], No. 13637/50. Divided out of 662,831. Drawings to Specification. Class 38 (iv). The Specification describes the same apparatus as that described in 662,831, but the claims are directed to the feature of controlling the craft control surfaces directly by the power of an electrical servomotor through a purely mechanical linkage. The operation of the servomotor is controlled by two electrical signals, one produced by an induction signal generator responsive to deviation of the craft from a prescribed strictive or attitude and the other by another induction signal generator in response to displacement of the control surface with respect to the craft.
