575,190. Turning. BRANNAN, A. J. March 2, 1944, No. 3909. [Class 83 (iii)] A roller tool box comprises steady rollers 6 and 7 mounted at the ends of arms 10, 11 individually pivoted about spaced axes to the box body part and adapted to be pressed firmly against the front face of the box 2 by means of tightening studs 12 and 13 by set-screws 15 carried by lugs 16 integral with the body of the box for supporting the arms to maintain the rollers pressed against the work 4 and an angularly adjustable holder for a tool 5 urged against the work by a screw 21. The rollers are mounted on the arms 10, 11 by means of screwed studs 8, 9 and to prevent the entry of particles into the bearings, the ends of the arms are enlarged as shown at 10a, 11a and annular washers 14 are placed under the heads of the studs 8, 9. The tool 5.passes through a slot in the head of a bolt 18 and is clamped on to a washer 19, resting on the front face of the box, by means of a nut abutting against the rear face of the box.
