[Class 7 (v)] [Also in Groups XXIX and XXXVII] A switch s, t operates valves k, g by solenoids m, h and compressed air flows past valve k and forces fuel from tank a past the valve g to nozzles f in the engine induction pipes, the switch being held on by a coil q and released either by a capsule z worked by the engine temperature or a capsule y worked by a heater coil x in the circuit with the solenoids. The valve k when closed vents the tank to atmosphere and the float e then allows the tank to be filled to the correct level. The capsules have a highly expansible fluid which compress bellows w and opens a switch u, v. The heater coil prevents over-priming by opening the circuit after a given time.
