[Class 110 (ii)] Packing for the vanes 12 of a hydraulic torque-transmission apparatus comprise moulded resilient pieces 13 of oil-proof rubber or the like, fitting in grooves 11 with bevelled edges. Strips 14, 15, the latter pressed downwards by springs 18, seal the inner and outer edges 10, 8, of fixed abutments 6a. The transmission apparatus is used in varying the pitch of propeller blades.
