572,487. Securing agricultural tools. ALLMAN, E. J. Jan. 12, 1944, No. 620. [Class 6 (i)] [Also in Groups X and XXV] A clamp for securing agricultural tools to a tool bar comprises two U-shaped plates 3 secured together by a bridge 2 and having pins 5 passing through the ends of the prongs and forming stops for a U-shaped abutment 9 that embraces the prongs. As shown in Fig. 1, the tool bar 13 is placed between the prongs and the stalk 12 for an agricultural tool is placed between the plates 3 and clamped at the required angle by screws 8 passing through the bridge 2; holes 14 are provided to receive a pin to adjust the height of the stalk. In Fig. 5, plates. 10 have holes 15 that engage the pins 5 and the bar 13 is placed in a notch 16 and also in a notch 17 in a plate 11 that is inserted between the stalk 12 and the bar 13.
