Abstract
538,770. Scaffold clamp. YOUNG, S. J. Feb. 26, 1940, No. 3579. [Class 20 (ii)] A scaffold clamp comprises a main member of U-section having the limbs of the U slotted to provide four smaller limbs, two of which 4 are connected by a cross bolt 9 forming a hinge for the bow shaped clamping member 6, to which is secured a cross bar 8 with apertured ends to receive bolts 11 which also pass through apertures 5 in the outwardly bent upper smaller limbs 3a to effect the clamping of the scaffold members x, y.
