Clips, band. -A coupling device for scaffold poles and the like comprises two open sleeve portions 7 formed integrally with their longer axes substantially at right-angles and complementary closure portions 11 hinged to each sleeve portion. The clamping bolts 16 are hinged to the sleeve portions and pass through slotted lugs 14 on the closure portions.
