Abstract

571,187. Discharge apparatus. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and POWERS, S. J. Nov. 19, 1943, No. 19381. [Class 39 (i)] An electric discharge tube comprises a base 1, terminal pins 2 sealed therethrough, a tubular support 3 secured to the base, an assembly of electrodes mounted on the support, and leads 11 connecting each electrode with a terminal pin. The support 3 may be secured by welding a lug 5 thereon to a terminal pin. The electrodes may be mounted between mica discs 7 and 8, the disc 7 being secured by eyelets with lugs 6 on the support member. Slots 12 are provided through which leads 11 can pass.
