Abstract

570,034. Crop-loaders. , ELLISON, J. Jan. 6, 1944, No. 282. [Class 78 (i)] An endless-belt elevator for agricultural products is pivoted at its base to a wheeled carriage 1 and comprises two telescopic members 4, 8. The lower member 4 is raised by a screw, hydraulic, or other jack 5 to the desired elevation, and may be further secured in position by a telescopic support 31. The jack 5 is operated through bevel gearing by a handle 7. The extension 8 rides on rollers 20 in the member 4, and is positively extended and withdrawn by winding gear operated by a handle 19. Windshields 28, 29'may extend along the sides of the members 4, 8. The cross-strake or like conveyer 11 is driven through tooth-and-belt gearing 25, 26 from a belt-pulley 21. A bolt 34 secures the members 4, 8 in extended position.
