569,207. Gas absorption pipettes. HUMPHREYS & GLASGOW, Ltd., and DAVIES, G. V. C. Sept. 2, 1943, No. 14341. [Class 1 (i)] A gas absorption pipette has a bubbling tube d with a funnelshaped head d<1> loosely seated on the neck bl connecting the gas receiver b, situated within the absorbent reagent container e, with the gas inlet chamber a. The incoming gas passes down through the bubbling tube, but when suction is applied to withdraw the residual gas from the receiver the funnel rises from the seating to allow its escape.
