568,457. Electromagnetic relays. SANGAMO WFSTON, Ltd. Oct. 13, 1943, No. 16773. Convention date, Dec. 4, 1942. [Class 38 (v)] In an instrumenttype relay in which a moving coil 1 moves in arcuate gaps between magnetic members 2, 3, an angularly-adjustable magnetic member 10 is provided to increase the flux density at any desired region. In the form shown, the member 10 is fixed to the " fixed " contact 9 which is adjustable along a scale 6 and the arrangement gives increased flux at the point where the contacts engage, thereby giving a more certain contact.
