567,453. Pulverizers. INTERNATIONAL PULVERIZING CORPORATION. Aug. 27, 1943, No. 14023. Convention date, Sept. 7, 1942. [Class 59] A centrifugal fluid jet grinding mill for reducing solid material by attrition due to the impact of particles against one another comprises a cylindrical chamber to which the material is fed and given a circulatory motion by inclined jets of steam or gas passing through the cylindrical wall of the chamber, one flat wall of which is rotated. The chamber comprises a fixed wall a and an opposite rotary wall c mounted close to the wall f and rotated by a shaft y. The cylindrical wall is furnished with inclined slots u leading from a header v to which steam or gas is supplied by a pipe w. The material is supplied by a pipe x and discharged, along with the gas &c. by a central pipe p. Specifications 432,191 and 544,397 are referred to.
