Abstract

567,102. Roving and thread guides. AKT.-GES. J. J. RIETER & CIE. March 1, 1943, No. 3370. Convention date, Dec. 2, 1941. [Class 120 (ii)] The two rovings passing to the drawing rollers of a spinning and doubling frame are kept separated by a partition 3 arranged between the verticallydisplaced horizontal bores 2 of the roving guide 1 and parallel to the axes of the bores. The partition 3 is disposed at the entry side to the guide, may taper towards its free edge, and its length from the plate is at least equal to half the staple length of the material being spun and doubled. A partition may also be arranged on the exit side of the guide.
