567,073. Ladders. GODDARD, F. T. May 4, 1943, No. 6995. [Class 20 (ii)] A folding ladder has tubular side rails 1 which are hinged at 5, the sections of the ladder being locked in alignment when required by sliding bolts 4 which are mounted in the rails and are carried by the bottom rung 2 of each section, these rungs being longitudinally slidable in slots 3 in the rails so that the bolts may be slid downwardly into the rails of the section immediately below.
