564,696. Float valves. READ, A. E., and RAMSDEN, E. [Representative of Ramsden, H. L.]. Sept. 9, 1943, No. 14793. [Class 135] A connector for adjustably connecting a float to a float arm comprises a part directly secured to the float adapted to engage between the limbs of a forked member adapted to be secured to the float arm, the two parts being adjustably clamped together by a bolt and nut. As shown in the Figure, adapted for use with a semi-spherical float, one part is formed of two Z-shaped parts 13 secured to the float by a bolt 14 and nut 15. The other part has an internally-screwed socket 11 for engaging a thread on the float arm. In a modification for use with a spherical float, one part has a screwed tail for engaging the float and has a projection adapted to engage between the limbs of the other part.
