Abstract
563,951. Transformers. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. March 1, 1943, No. 3274. Convention date, Feb. 28, 1942. [Class 38 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXV and XXXVI] A fastening for mounting an electric coil &c. 1, 7 on a base 3 comprises a spring metal member e having a pair of upstanding arms a, b with out-turned ends n and an aperture g between the arms through which passes a screw &c. 11 for spreading the arms into contact with the tube I of the coil, and also adjusting the core 9 of the coil. Tongues h may be bent out of the arms to grip the tube 1. In another form, the fastener is placed on the inner side of 3 and the base arms of e are bent towards 3 and engage slots therein to prevent rotation during turning of the screw 11 to vary the distance of the coil &c. from the base. An electric capacitor with electrodes in the place of core 9 and coil 7 may be similarly mounted.
