[Class 37] The first layer of a counter-electrode in a rectifier comprises a metallic paint including a metal not oxidisable in air, applied to the semiconductor cuprous oxide or selenium directly or over a preliminary layer of graphite. Silver is the preferred metal. Specifications 468,736 and 562,848 are referred to.
