562,363. Speed governors. TANGYES, Ltd., and GAMBLE, J. March 24, 1943, No. 4803. [Class 57] - A centrifugal governor for an internal-combustion engine in which motion is transmitted from the crank-shaft to the cam-shaft by chain and sprockets, c'omprises a plate a adjustably secured to an engine part and a spindle passing through the plate and carrying the governor mechanism on one side and on the other side carrying a sprocket i driven by and tensioning the chain. The governor transmits motion through a spindle m carrying a lever n with a transverse extension o engaging the slidable governor member k in all positions of the adjustable plates, and a lever s stressed by a spring r and actuating the control rack of the fuel pump through a link t.
