558,383. Moulds for concrete blocks. WILSON, J. M. June 16, 1942, No. 8221. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group X] A building-block for walls with continuous air passages is formed of concrete &c. slabs 20, 21 connected together in spaced relation by inclined concrete &c. bars 22 reinforced with metal rods 23 projecting into the slabs to a less extent than the thickness thereof. Fig. 4 shows a mould for making the block, comprising base 30, sides 32, 34 and sectional tray 36A, 36B supportable on ledges 35. A corner block, Fig. 7, consists of angled and flat slabs 40, 41 connected by bars 42, 43 and a mould for making it comprises (Fig. 8) a base 30, sides 32, 34, sectional tray 36A, 36B and an upright section 36C adapted to be hung on the section 36A.
