589,449. Building slabs. ALLTOOLS, Ltd., and HALL, E. H. S. Jan. 22, 1945, No. 1696. [Class 87 (i)] [Also in Group V] A rectangular concrete wall slab 10 is made in a mould 13, 14, 15, (see Group V) and has a groove 11 in one longer end face, a tongue 12 projecting from the other longer end face, and recesses (not shown) in its shorter end faces. Local recesses 52 may be provided in the face formed with the tongue 12, to receive tie members by which the block will be tied to an adjoining portion of the building, the upper edges of these recesses being formed curved as shown to permit of opening the mould.
