Abstract

557,015. Sliding doors. RANSOME & MARLES BEARING CO., Ltd., and HICKLING, F. O. April 28, 1942, No. 5684. [Class 20 (iii)] [Also in Groups XXIV, XXH and XXXIV] Pulleys, particularly aircraft control pulleys, rollers, wheels and the like are formed from a pair of pressed plates or discs connected back to back and cut concentrically with the circumference to provide an inner body portion and an outer ring-like portion each having co-operating races for an anti-friction bearing. Fig. 13 shows a runner wheel suitable for a sliding door, the outer flanges 28 of the part B providing a reinforced rim with flange 29. The bore 8 of the inner stationary part A is formed by flat plates connected at 30 to a spindle 31.
