588,221. Rollers for sliding doors. HENDERSON, Ltd., P. C., and HENDERSON, P C. Feb. 6, 1945, No. 3023. [Class 20 (iii)] A roller for a sliding door &c. comprises a central rubber or the like disc a, formed with an oversize tread d of curved form in transverse section defining a recess on each lateral face for the reception of the metal discs b, c, the tread projecting outwards from the lateral faces of the roller. In the runner assembly shown two rollers having a common spindle g are carried on the bearing h and one metal disc c of each roller is provided with a shoulder f which extends through the rubber disc to bear against the other metal disc b.
