[Class 44] To minimise friction, a latch bolt head 12 has a pair of rollers 19, 21 mounted in intersecting recesses in the bolt head so that the rollers contact with each other, roller 19 projecting from the front face of the head to engage the inner wall of the latch casing 23, whilst roller 21 projects from the bevelled end of the bolt to engage the striking plate 14.
