Abstract

1376036 Bearings CREUSOT-LOIRE 10 Aug 1972 [3 Sept 1971] 37347/72 Heading F2A A bearing assembly for a rotatable body 7 comprises a fixed shaft 1 which extends through the body, the shaft having a segment 2 which is pivotable relative to the remainder of the shaft about an axis perpendicular to the shaft, the segment being prevented from moving relative to the shaft about the axis of the shaft. The segment may be mounted by a semi-cylindrical member 4 located in the segment which engages with a corresponding recess in the shaft. The rotatable body may be journalled on the shaft by either a sliding or rolling bearing.
