[Class 83 (iii)] A milling cutter, reamer &c. comprises a shank a having threaded portions c, d of opposite hands and a conical portion b, the conically bored cutter e being threaded internally to engage the part d and secured by a lock-nut h screwing on the part c. For right-handed cutters the thread d is right-hand and the thread c left-hand.
